Crisis Intervention Officer - I provided immediate services for adults struggling with suicidal thoughts and/or attempts, and also struggling with emotional disorders to help incorporate stabilization
Intensive in Home Services - I worked with children and adolescents to help address individual issues (e.g. behavioral concerns in the community, home, and/or school). I also integrated family therapeutic services that included psychoeducation, parenting skills, and family stabilization
Children's counselor at a detention center - I worked directly with adolescents who struggled with addictions, identity crises, and/or court-ordered services due to inappropriate behaviors that resulted in them being removed from home.
Family Services Specialist - I worked as a liaison for Social Services to provide mediation and psychoeducation to individuals and families, connected families with community resources, and prioritized safety for all individuals in the home.
This experience led to receiving continuing education credits in reunification therapy
Since 2023, I have been working as a clinician in outpatient private practice providing face to face or telehealth services to Individuals, couples, and/or families.
I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families to identify barriers, establish healthy boundaries, and overcome intergenerational trauma and relationship issues.
I have helped my clients in relationship recovery, assisting those who have faced challenges in their intimate, familial, or self-relationships.
My extensive experience in the mental health field has provided me with a deep understanding of how trauma impacts individuals and families across various stages of life. I have worked closely with individuals experiencing emotional crises, behavioral challenges, and identity struggles, many of which stemmed from unresolved trauma. Through direct intervention, psychoeducation, and family-focused therapeutic approaches, I have witnessed how trauma manifests in relationships, behavior, and mental health. My work has consistently prioritized stabilization, safety, and empowerment, recognizing the importance of addressing trauma to foster healing and resilience.
